After arriving at the entrance, we were paired with a tour guide, who provided a detailed briefing and explained how the tour works. Instead of sunscreen, make sure that you have a rashguard a kind of water-friendly shirt to wear in the water to keep your skin from getting burned. Plus, the second half of their tour takes you to swim and snorkel in a cenote that flows through huge caves and caverns which is a blast and a unique experience in itself. Discover the wonders of Turtle Bay with a leisurely snorkel tour, seeking out three of the world's seven sea turtle species. Good fun if you're short on time and want a cheap way to see the turtles. It's crowded, but doesn't take away from the experience when you are in the water.
